Austin Smith is an average college student. She has one more year untill law school. She gets good grades and loves her parents.

One day when she comes home from college for thanksgiving break she finds three strangers in her home with her parents. Turns out they are Clay and Gemma Morrow. Gemma's son Jax is there as well. Turns out Jax and Austin's parents are friends and have made a deal that Jax and Austin will be married in six months time. This news does not sit well with the two but they move in with each other and learn to deal with it. Then end up falling in love and Jax becomes protective over her and hides her from the crew.
