I don’t know just what it was about that day in December that caught my attention. Maybe it was the stillness, the way I closed my eyes and listened and heard as close to silence as I’d ever come to hearing before. Maybe it was the temperature, the way the crisp air nipped at my nose and felt like it was going through my body and cleansing my soul. The terrifying and spine shivering sight of flesh being ripped to pieces, agonising screams of terror and the horrendous sight of blood splattering on the living room window escalated my heart beats to rhythms I never thought possible. The screams of terror and horror disappeared and at the window I felt the presence of the monster who was doing this. It turned a bit staring back at me with menacing yellow orbs penetrating to my soul as a silent warning that I would be next. Next in line following the demise of my very own...family. Crystal Cane, 17 year old senior in high school has had to live 12 years of her life after the incident with a new family, new home, new school and fortunately new friends. Still a little timid as she lives her life she has to be ready to see what fate has in store for her. Or what it seems to have against her .
