I impatiently tap my leg as I wait for Beth to pick up the call. I almost give up but sigh in relief when she does,
"It better be something important girl, it's 1am." She yawns.
"I found a roommate." I nervously chew on my lip, still tapping my leg.
"Now that's good news. You are supposed to be excited. Why are you not excited?"
"Because of who the person is."
"Who is it Evelyn?" I cringe as she says my full name. I take a deep breath. Here goes nothing,
"Scott. Scott Adams."
She yawns again, "So? What's wrong in.. Wait, what?!"
