The character of Amanda has a tumor growing on her spinal cord from a young age, as an aspiring jockey, she has chosen to have it removed, however, this leads to catastrophe as the surgery fails. Her wife, an aspiring comedian must try to light up her life and deal with the new challenges in their relationship after the surgery.
