A young man named Vergil Trinity was a test subject to learn how to use a sword called the Purgatory which was pose to be a deterrent so if the alliance between the three powers and the other mythologies ever broke and war was going to start out again. Out of revenge during experiments his girlfriend and best friend were killed .
