Elizabeth is a normal sophomore who moved across the country to get away from her old life. She loves writing and reading. She doesn't have many friends, except for her sister, and the new people she meets at her new school. Liz writes stories, but when her stories become more real then she ever thought could be possible, she goes on a dangerous journey to save the place where she feels at home.
