What happens when rain loses her mom in a car accident, and she has to live with her uncle in hallow creek, A town that she is so sure about is boring and plain, until she meets a certain someone.   

He is cocky, smart, shallow, almost vampirish, and with a couple of hundred years up to his sleeve, you could say. He has been wandering earth far too long and has always felt the need to be alone until now. 

She does not know that maybe, that boy is something that she always needed. 

Furthermore, he lusted her; he had never loved anyone before. He had not known even what this feeling was before she met her.
