A Leader of a cult community that lives in the woods that worships him because he has the eye of God. He tells his people that the seed of the pure and the egg of the sinner will birth the Messiah who will save them and lead them to salvation. But they kidnap this girl and try to have her mate with their own.
Emma Mercer finds herself lost when suddenly kidnapped and taken by a cult of people who believe she will birth one of the male's children. Avoiding violence of the males, especially of the leader's son, she must try to escape capture and find a way out.
Adrian Jones tells her he'll protect her each night until dawn. But can she trust a cult member? And if so, how will they escape the walls that barricade them in a community that has gone mad.
