Mary Jane is 16 years old and on the run. She was in the woods with her younger brother and she believes he is dead so she will be the one convicted of murder with no one to support her claims that it wasn't her fault. She runs for a week before finding a farm somewhere in Mississippi and sleeping in the laft of the barn. So far she has avioded being caught and taken home. Will she be convicted of murder or make a life in her new found home?
