For every Avatar, there is a guardian to watch, protect, and guide them through their journeys and fulfilling their fate as a master of all four elements. It is a duty that must be shouldered no matter what. The place of guardian is not regarded highly, despite its importance. Because not many guardians manage to find the Avatar or are even aware of their duty, some dying before the Avatar's arrival into the world. It is a matter of chance.

Nera of the Southern Air Temples, is a guardian.

She knows her responsibilities and she is fully prepared to accept them. She is ready to lay down her life if it means carrying out on the path she was sworn to follow. However, for some odd reason, the three tag alongs she happens to be traveling along side of keep causing her to feel things that she never allowed herself before. Is it the bond of friendship she shunned for so long or is it a distraction from the job she was meant to complete?

After their victory at the Northern Water Tribe, the world took its first hopeful breath in a hundred years. The Fire Nation had been stopped - for now - but the war was far from over. The Avatar had returned. But Aang still had much to learn. To master all four elements and restore balance, he would next have to learn earthbending. But more than bending, Aang needs to understand the deepest part of himself: the mysterious, powerful Avatar State. Together with his friends - Katara, Sokka and Sora - Aang sets off into the Earth Kingdom. Their journey would lead them through vast lands and treacherous cities. Along the way, they would meet new allies - and face dangerous enemies determined to stop the Avatar from fulfilling his destiny. Having discovered her worst nightmare had come true, Aya is still traveling with her older brother and sister and the Avatar. Aya finally got her wish and discovered her bending ability but it's the one elemental she despises the most; Fire. Aya is beyond terrified and confused about her bending ability and how she got it. She thinks she's the daughter of a waterbender and was born in the Southern Water Tribe but she has yet to discover her story. Aya knows she's different and she knows she has things to discover about herself. Wanting to tell her siblings and Aang about her firebending, she's scared of how they will react and decides to keep it to herself. As the adventure continues, Aya discovers how special she is and how she got her firebending. She may have discovered her bending element but she is still the undiscovered girl. Book 3 is out now!

Aya has discovered her true Fire Angel power and has full control over it, along with getting her Fire Wings. Ruka has finally found her long lost daughter and they were reunited after years of being apart. Aya felt joy and relief when she hugged her mother for the first time. Team Avatar has set foot in Fire Nation territory and are in disguise as typical Fire Nation citizens so they can put the invasion plan in action when the solar eclipse arrives. The team has to stay hidden incase someone sees Aang's arrows or Aya's wings. It won't be easy, but things have never been easy for Team Avatar. Aang believes he has to save the world on his own, but he isn't alone, he has his Fire Angel at his side. The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending. After almost a year of traveling, fighting, friendship, love, anger, and heartbreak it's time for Team Avatar to save the world and bring peace back to it.
