GUARDIAN | ATLA [01]

For every Avatar, there is a guardian to watch, protect, and guide them through their journeys and fulfilling their fate as a master of all four elements. It is a duty that must be shouldered no matter what. The place of guardian is not regarded highly, despite its importance. Because not many guardians manage to find the Avatar or are even aware of their duty, some dying before the Avatar's arrival into the world. It is a matter of chance.

Nera of the Southern Air Temples, is a guardian.

She knows her responsibilities and she is fully prepared to accept them. She is ready to lay down her life if it means carrying out on the path she was sworn to follow. However, for some odd reason, the three tag alongs she happens to be traveling along side of keep causing her to feel things that she never allowed herself before. Is it the bond of friendship she shunned for so long or is it a distraction from the job she was meant to complete?
