Wanderess

There is a land called Novikia, where humans are second class, and Wielders rule. There is magic and great beasts that roam the land, and there is peace.

But it comes with a price.

It has been so long, the people do not even see what their precious Cities have become; cages. The Cities are full of fat-cat dukes and dutchess', nobles and the rich-blooded. They live pampered lives with easy work and large houses.

The Villages are full of the people who are not so lucky. These people know the cruelty of the king who has ruled for too long, with far too much power.

For so long, the people have been sheep; herded and pushed along into compliance with the threat of horrible punishment. They don't remember how to fight back.

Only a few groups remain who still remember what it means to be a Wielder. They were not meant to follow. They were not meant to be confined.

They were born for freedom. They were born for power, and with a thirst for knowledge, all the things the king has taken away from them.

It has been too long, and this war is a long time coming.
