*** He pressed my back against the wall with one of his hands on either side trapping me. He leaned his head down so his mouth was right next to my ear and whispered, "Oh Raine, you never give yourself any credit. You act so innocent when people are paying attention to you, but I know better. I've seen what you are capable of and I want you." With that he began grazing my rib cage up and down with his finger tips, knowing exactly what it does to me. I grabbed his shoulders to steady myself while he pressed himself closer to me. Then I let out a soft moan that he caught with his lips. God, I know I can't keep myself from him. *** I never thought that opposites attract. They are opposite for a reason. Example, water and oil refuse to mix because they are polar opposites. We were polar opposites. When I first met him I thought I was going to kill him. He was everything I hated. Pompous, rude, arrogant, and he thought that he knew everything. Then with my luck I became stuck with him for two months. After that time I realized something very surprising about us. . .

I don't know what to feel towards him. My brain -my heart- gives me mixed feelings about him: every time our eyes lock, I feel warm inside. Sometimes even the butterflies and sparks hurt me, the thought of him tightens my chest with ache, as confusion crawls my skin. We're friends, but he shows mixed signals that confuses me. That's just one side of the story. The other side is suffering too, he's been in love with Evelyn ever since he laid eyes on her, but she just saw Zachary as a friend. And it gnaws at him that she never notices his eyes. But not fate, neither destiny will bring them together. Coincidence does...
