Girl meets boy. Well, girl meets boy online. Charlotte has spent her high school life hiding behind a screen. She desperately searches for someone to instill her purpose in her own self, oblivious to her need for real friends. Middle school and high school have been full of insincere acquaintances who only brought her down lower. When Char gets a message from a guy in her town, she has no idea who it is. She feels invisible as she slugs through the halls in her high school, her face glued to her phone and her ears plugged with music. Will she let herself fall for a guy who she doesn't even know?
