"I write from my soul.

This is the reason that critics don't

hurt me, because it is me.

If it was not me, if I was pretending

to be someone else, then this could

unbalance my world, but I know

who I am."-Paulo Coelho

In high school, Yunjin was the quiet, eccentric girl who felt out of place among her peers. She found solace in her small group of friends, but Chaewon-always the popular, charming student-seemed like she lived in an entirely different world. Yet, the two shared an unspoken connection, with Chaewon treating Yunjin with a kindness that made her feel seen. Despite their differences, their bond deepened, until that same bond caused them to drift apart. Years later, Yunjin had transformed into a attractive veterinarian, no longer the shy, awkward girl from high school. Unexpectedly, Chaewon walked into her clinic, effortlessly poised and radiant as ever. The brief moment they shared in high school suddenly felt alive again, bringing back memories Yunjin had buried long ago. Would they be able to pick up where they left off, or had too much time passed?
