Reimagining of my first book cuz I hated it. It's still up so you can read it if you want. Please be forewarned that I have a limited knowledge on DC, this fiction is just to satisfy my own imagination. I do not own Percy Jackson characters or DC characters. Nico di Angelo is finally happy. He's learning to accept himself for his sexuality and as a son of Hades. After everything horrible that has happened to him, he's slowly getting better with the help of Will and his friends. Will Solace finally got the boy of his dreams. The boy he had a crush on since he was 11 years old. He's starting to realize that he isn't as useless as he thinks he is, and that he's actually worth something. Everything is going great for a while. But just like it always is for demigods, nothing good ever lasts. The death of Nico's first and closest friend Jason Grace puts a sudden end to the sunshine that currently brightens Nico's life for once. His death triggers a lot of things for him, and shines light on a lot of his unresolved trauma. Will Nico be able to make it through this without his mental stability completely breaking once and for all? Will Nico be able to let people in enough to help him get through it? And what about the mysterious dreams that Nico keeps having of his mom? And who really is this little girl that knows nothing about her past? In this sequel to Out of the Shadows, Nico sees familiar faces and revisits past places, but at least this time he has Will along for the ride. It all started after the Battle of Manhattan. Will was going home to his mother, they lived in Gotham because of Will's mom career so he doesn't complain to much. But after a unfortunate run in, Gotham gives Will a good reason to hate it. But a family of Bats might just change that again and make Will part of their family. So hey guys for those wondering why I make a story like that with Will Solace. Well the reason is simple. I like Will he is probably my favorite PJO character and there are just barely any stories about him. Also I don't own any of the characters in this story they all belong to either Rick Riordan or DC. I only own the few OC's in this story.

( A/N: Okay, so, I've been wanting to write something like this for a while, but I never really had the motivation to actually write it. I can't promise regularly scheduled updates, but I will do my best. I've also inserted an OC of mine into this story. His name is Dylan. Be nice to him, he's just a sad wet cat of a character.) Dylan was so done with the gods. He'd done everything they'd asked, gone behind the backs of the few friends he had, set several prophecies in motion, and - possibly worst of all - had lied directly to their faces about it. And yet here he was, doing Apollo's dirty work again. Gods, he hated his dad (The only character I own is Dylan, all the others belong to Rick Riordan and the DCU.)
