Within a heavily stratified, hierarchical wolf pack, one would not expect a simple hunter wolf to be concerned with a looming war abroad or even a local insurrectionist conflict. The life of a hunter was saddled with other imminent dangers that preoccupied this critically important, yet wholly unappreciated caste within the pack. ROWEN is one such wolf. Initially concerned only with feeding himself and his pack, an unlikely friendship with the pack's alpha-to-be has set Rowen on a path to become something much more. Now thrust into a new station as a border guard, Rowen must now participate in the pack's first line of defense along an area that is poorly patrolled and discreet - a perfect setting for an enemy contingent to slip by.
