I shake my head in disbelief, finally scoffing. "Why did you fight for it if you're just gonna give it to me?"
He steps closer to me then whispers, making me shiver, "I'm thinking of giving this to you for something in return."
My mouth was slightly open, I'm unsure why. He takes both of my hands and caressed it for a while, maybe casting an evil spell on me. The next thing he did is to get the soup from the counter and put in on my hands. My eyes stayed on him and he glances back, sending me a wink. "I'll see you soon."
He walks past me after getting his take out, purposely brushing his shoulder on mine gently. I watch him leave the shop, frozen on the floor. The customers were back to their businesses but my uncle chose to smile at me.
