Haha. Je'taime. French for 'I love you'. The Greek god said that he loves me. Wait. What the fuck did he just say? My eyes turned wide. They were probably the widest they could go.
"Sorry, what?" I asked.
"My friends sitting over there gave me a dare. They dared me to come and ask you for a place to sit" he said rubbing his neck with a handsome smile on his face. He looked confident and nervous. Confivous. A 'confivous' look adorned his face. A look only a guy like him could pull off.
"Hmm. I wonder what un endroit s'il vous plaît means" I said with a sort-of smirk. I don't even know what that is. It is some kinda expression a girl puts up when she is trying to nail her first impression on a guy. You know sounding smart and looking sexy kinda thing?
" Je suis désolé madame" he said and did a casual bow.
"I can't think of a reply with the limited number of french words I know" I said playing with the glass.
"I am surprised you even know what you know. Not a lot of people here know French. Well, anyway. They dared me to say that I love you. I thought saying it in French would be less embarrassing" he said. His whole set of teeth on display. "Yeah. Sure." I said. This time playing with my already damaged hair. (I play with everything. Remind me to bring a ball with me next time)
He gave another smile and walked away to his table.
