Clary had always had a tough upbringing but in ways respected her father for making her strong and without weakness. She was the perfect solider in every way. The Morgenstern name had been respected amongst the Shadowhunters and even feared for his methods. Valentine had always had big plans for Clary but on the day of her 13th birthday, he was killed in a demon attack. Ever since, Clary had lived on her own, moving from country to country and city to city, whilst still keeping up her training and studies.
