Life seemed to be going great for Katerina Lewis; she was surrounded with an amazing family, loyal friends, and her family wasn't doing to badly on the financial front. There was nothing for her to complain about. When she was a child there was one person who seemed to be there for her always, her uncle. For years he would go missing and he would randomly show up again. When her parents are killed in an unexplainable accident In a turn of events, Katerina is sent to go live with her uncle. That is, until Caleb remembers the reason that he tried to commit suicide in the first place, revealing a secret that shatters his new found confidence. As things at home begin to deteriorate too, Caleb’s situation goes from bad to worse. The only person who knows the truth, Dr Palmer, leaves him to stand on his own two feet, declaring him cured. He starts back at college full time, and becomes ever closer with Stephanie, the only person whom he feels that he can trust. When his own father attacks his mother, Caleb begins to think that the police are on to him, trying to unravel his past, thinking that they have realised what happened to cause him to try to commit suicide.
