While still trying to recover from the repercussions of last year's Purge, Scott and his daughter, Sarah, win the Safe Haven lottery, granting them a room at a heavily fortified hotel downtown. Once the Purge commences, Scott and Sarah soon realize some things are just too good to be true. The hotel that appeared to be protection from the chaos outside quickly becomes a deathtrap for many chosen guests. Sarah, once again, finds herself caught in the fatal night of violence she can't find an escape from, as Scott tries to protect her from the sadistic effects of his past actions.
