Now as cringeworthy as the title seems, this story is far from it, excluding the Nalu moments that is. Lucy Heartfilia is a 17 year old type 1 diabetic. No, she did not eat too many sugary foods. No, she is not fat. That is the stereotypical description of a type 2 diabetic.
At 14, Lucy was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Why she has this, however, no one can say. Her parents didn't have it, nor her grandparents, but I'm getting off topic here.
For three years she has put up with blood tests, injections, monthly doctor appointments and fear...
Fear of doing something wrong. Fear of forgetting something and ruining her life. Before you say 'it can't be that bad', it can. Diabetics can lose their limbs if there blood sugars get out of control.
Now back to the plot line.
Lucy moves with her supportive family to Fiore, where she attends Fiore High. I high school with outstanding student records and lovely people. or so she thought....
Natsu Dragneel is the ultimate playboy there, boyfriend of Lisanna Strauss and best friend/rival to Gray Fullbuster. Upon hearing of the arrival of the new girl, he decides to have some fun.
Only thing is, love has a crazy way of working its way into things
