I told her everything. Everything that was fresh in my mind came out. Every word said, and every action made. During the process I began to feel the weight of sadness fall off my shoulders and turn into anger.

That is when I made my promise to never say goodbye to Max even if it killed me to watch my best friend go. Besides that, he wasn't even my best friend anymore, let alone my friend. 

From that moment on I had made Max Foster my permanent enemy.
