Volcanoes are acting up with no logical explanation. Everything seems to be going haywire. Some say it's the end. Some say there's Hope. But Hope is a murderer and she's got a thief with her. If it's up to two disappointments to save the world, is there truly hope?

On top of that, her father died before she'd hatched, and her mother shortly after. And her only friend isn't who she says she is.
