Holly had never met her father before. She never knew his name, she never knew what he looked like, and she never knew if he even existed. Her distant relationship with her reckless mother leads her to constantly think of the mystery man that had gotten her mother pregnant almost seventeen years before. And she's about to meet him face to face. Unbeknown to Holly, when she starts at the prestigious Freya Lake school, her father is there, and is one of her teachers. He immediately recognises her name and looks, and gradually tries to learn things about her. When she becomes suspicious about him wanting to know personal details about her, mistakeningly thinking that he's trying to seduce her, he confesses that he's her father. Slowly, Holly becomes close to her father, and her mother becomes jealous of their bond.
