Princess Victoria first encountered Prince William on the eve of his tenth birthday. Two years his junior, she was convinced he was the prince of the stories her mother had told her before she died. However, the innocent-looking boy was the harshest, most impolite person she had ever met.
Prince William wanted nothing more than to spend his youth stealing treats from the kitchens, play-fighting with his friends, and living a carefree, adventurous life.
