Morgan Jennings has always led her ordinary life living in the shadows, her only attention coming from the bullies that come at her everyday. When she sees her neighborhood band “On the Brink” going somewhere in the music business, she decides to help them out with their underdeveloped lyrics. Sending anonymous letters to the band every other week with songs for them to use, she starts feeling more regret with each word.
Could she have used those lyrics for herself? Or is this the most recognition her music will ever get? When the band’s career skyrockets, Morgan feels overjoyed that her words can finally be heard but she feels that she should be the one getting the recognition for her words.
So what will Morgan do now? Will she take a leap of faith and ask for the recognition she deserves as their songwriter? Or will she keep the steady flow of lyrics going to On the Brink? Find out in “I’m the Songwriter”.

The Scars I Carry
A collection I've put together of a few original poems I've written over the years. These poems are relating to personal experiences and emotions, and I debated publishing them for a very long time. I've finally decided to publish some of my work in hopes that they can help some people through difficulties, as writing them helped me. I will be adding more as I write them of course. There are various forms and styles so each piece is different from the others, although this collection follows similar themes. I will be putting trigger warnings for each and every poem that requires them, as well as which triggers are contained in which poems that way you have the best idea of what you will find. If at any point you feel triggered by my writing or by something else, please don't be afraid to reach out for help, you are never alone, I promise you. The themes/possible triggers contained within this collection are the following; self-harm, suicide attempts and general talk of suicide, emotional and psychological abuse, childhood trauma, mental health and mental illness (anxiety, depression, ptsd, anorexia- etc), death and dying-and others. I am cringing but I wrote these to distract myself from my exams, pardon me for this. "Randomly made perfectly flawed" I hope you all will enjoy these poems as much as I had enjoyed jotting the small phrases on a rough paper and making it in something rhythmic.❤ Some said my poems made them cry and some said it made them laugh? Her Breaking Point
He had rules for a reason, or thats what he said. I did something wrong I got punished. I spoke out of turn, I got punished. I looked at him or ate without permission, I got punished. Haven thats what they named me funny isn't it? Ironic really. They named me Haven because my mom would say I was her 'Safe Haven'. What a pile of shit that was. She left willingly, she didn't depart because of some tragic accident. My father didn't kill her. She left because she was a coward who didn't want kids. As soon as my older brother went to college she left. I knew she hated me. I was the product of her love with another man. A constant reminder that her life didn't work out the way it was planned. He who ever he was is a phantom in its own. A deep rooted fantasy never going to come true. My brother left, my mother left, my grandma ignored, and my father broke. They let me give up hope on escaping and then decided to play hero. But I haven't forgotten everything I went through. Guilt consumes my brother but I don't care, you don't get to leave and then buy a reprieve of trying to save someone who has been dead for years. Besides lets just be honest I reached my breaking point long ago.Complete
