The world has gone to whack. The police force has taken control of the government and now hunts anyone who speaks out against them.
Our main character is among this group of people. Hiding for her life, she protects the one thing that means something to her in this world, Miriam, a young girl she's taken into care after her mother's murder.
She promised Miriam she would take care of her. Trust her, no one else. She'd keep her safe, and they'd always be okay.
The only problem is, they're still living a life on the run.
