As I look into my supposed mates eyes, I see nothing but the truth. Pure hatred emits from his eyes, and I can't help but break his stare and try to shove him off of me. But as much as I try, he keeps me pinned to the wall, keeping my arms above my head with his one hand, and the other tightly holding my waist. So instead of trying to get free, I say the only truth I fan give him.
"You're right." I whisper. "No one wants me. No one needs me. And that's Ok. Because I don't need anyone, except myself."

Maya had enough of the bullying. She reached her limit. The new school she was going to had a group of hot guys who were the center of attention for every single thing. Cade is the Alpha of a near by pack and Maya is not aware of them being werewolves. Once Maya decides that she has a mate, she is not going down without a fight because she is not a possession to be owned. ~~~ (Maya) I was shoved against the lockers and looked into the most beautiful green eyes ever. I mentally sighed and stared at him. The person they belonged to said "Mine!!!!" and buried his head into my neck and I could feel his nose moving against my skin and my neck was met with sparks, was he SNIFFING ME?! "You motherfucker, I am not a possession and I do NOT belong to anyone. So if you could move your sexy body out of the way, I would appreciate it. Also don't sniff people you weirdo." When I looked closer, I noticed that his hair was a very deep brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled downward to his eyes, where I found two deep, ocean blue eyes looking back at me. My gaze travelled farther down to his crooked nose, to which I assumed came from too many fights. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips, which were turned into a sneer. "You have got to be kidding me!" His pink lips said in a very offensive voice. My eyes turned questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. "Whatever, lets finish this. I, Ashton Carter, reject you, as my mate." He, or Ashton, said with venom lacing his voice.
