Now with Joaquin's freshman year at IHU over and with summer approaching, he decides to go have some fun in the sun with his boyfriend, Ezra as they head out to Ezra's hometown in Georgia.

It's seems that the trip itself will be a must deserved break, but what happens when a closeted secret between Ezra and his family might come between the relationship?

With lies and secrets working as a barrier between Joaquin, Ezra and an unexpected cousin, how far will it take to just tell the truth?

Ezra paced around his room, his mind filled with worry and his patience wearing thin.

"Ezra I think you should tell them now!" I said. "They pretty much know already because of what happened.

"Joaquin it ain't that easy, especially with how religious my family is!!" He yelled. "Do not you not fucking understand that much!"

Silence filled the room. I looked Ezra as I felt myself on the verge of breaking down into tears as his raised voice lingered through the atmosphere.

"Look this is too much I'm finna go." He said. "I need to be alone.

"Ezra wai-"

"I SAID I NEED TO BE ALONE!"

Ezra grabbed his keys from his dresser with attitude and stomped out the room, slamming the front door on his way out. Seconds later, I heard his car start up and drive away from the driveway.

I sat on the edge of the bed as he left and held my head in my hands. I watched my tears fall onto the carpet and dry away. The sobs filled the room and throughout the empty house.

"Why....does it have to be like this?" I said between deep breathes.

I glanced to the side to see something that I'm glad I kept.

"Since he want to be alone, I'm gonna go and be alone too.
