Everyone has their fears right? Things that make them scared to go outside or keeps them awake at night? Well in this time civilization is built up on fears or rather phobias with only a few who have none. But let's start with once upon a time shall we?
Everything was black as I shut my eyes tight. All I could hear was screaming and crying. Most of it my own. I pushed and kicked trying to get out of their grip. Trying to go back. Trying to hold on. But it was no use. I felt my body being thrown into the car. My breathing grew faster. What if they forget about me? What if they never come to get me? It's only going to be me. All alone. No one else. I couldn't handle it. I couldn't stop crying. I couldn't stop shaking. The only thing that did stop was my breathing.

The New Superhero
Ash gently floated through the breeze of the wind, and all of the ash was coming from the place that had fallen before my very eyes. I leaned my body up, so that I could get a better view of this place in front of me. I took in a deep breath as I smiled, the loud sounds and the beating of my heart, along with the fear and anxiety that I had felt before, all went away with the silence. Times like these were hard to come by after all of the things that I have been through. Though no matter how many times I wanted to feel victorious, no matter how many times I wanted to tell myself that it was all over, I couldn't. This happened quite frequently and fast, one second I get powers from a magic rock, and the next second, well, I wish I had never touched that rock. Sometimes I think I'm going to go insane, I wish I could go back in time and be a normal kid once more. It was better then, I was less stressed, and I didn't have villains to deal with, but I know eventually I will be at peace, and I won't have a care in the world. I just don't know if that peace will ever come, it may, or it may not, I guess I'll have to find out. #8 in notperfect as of 3/12/23Complete

The Corruption Within Us

Feel free to click off if any of these make you uncomfortable. ~•~ Something about it was so mysterious about this cave, and I wanted to know more. I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. Geovanni Have you ever gotten that feeling that somebody was watching you? And that person who was watching you wasn't normal. I have felt that way all of my life; but then again I felt as if I went missing nobody would even notice or care I was gone. I am 23 and just graduated from college. I had to transfer back into the city and pick up the extra work because my mom died, and my dad became addicted to anything that would numb his pain. My little sister and brother would be lost without me here. But now I could care less. A cold breeze blew through my window waking me up from my thoughts. I looked over in the corner and saw that nothing was there. It was odd because I felt like someone well more like something was there. It had to be my imagination getting the best of me. I laid back in my bed and closed my eyes. Then all of a sudden I got the feeling I wasn't alone. But the really strange thing is that even if there was someone in here with me I felt safe. Jordan. I watched her as she slept. In fact I have been watching her since she was born. I have waited half a century to find that one person. I think I have finally settled on her. She was my choice. I know. After being in as many relationships as I have you know things. I felt my fangs tingle. Her blood smelled so sweet. Her heartbeat was steady and strong. I took my tongue and ran it across my fang. The temptation to indulge in her red liquid was far too strong. I let out a low growl and jumped out her window. I was ready for a hunt. "Did you see her Jordan?" "Yes, and tomorrow night you will turn her," "Why do I have to turn her?"
