Perseus Jackson is next in line for the throne of Greece, but he's not too happy about it. His father, King Poseidon, definitely fits in the group of "Cruel and Despicable Kings." All his father wants is for Percy to rule Greece with an iron fist as he does, but all Percy wants is to be a normal teenager. As Percy's 18th birthday creeps closer, and his father's death more imminent, will Percy be able to deny his role any longer? Or will he be dealt the hand of fate that all royalty is forced to take?
