"He was mine, and I was his. Nobody else could have him. "
-Jory

"We found the school mostly deserted, and I knodded greetings to the people I knew, while keeping my arm around Vince's waist possesively. Any girl who looked at him longer than five seconds was automatically on my list to watch and make sure they didn't mess with what was mine.

Everyone at school knew it now. They knew he was mine, and not to touch him. The teachers knew it, the Principal knew it, and anyone who so much as touched him in a way other than to check his health, was on my shit list.

Permanently."

-

"Vincent slowly slid out of my arms, and looked at me straight; I saw the sadness and tumoil in his eyes, and knew what was coming next. Above all else I had one question, a question that tore itself out of my throat in a defeated whisper.

"Why?"

He shook his head, and simply...

Walked away."

"You just have no idea." His voice was thick with restraint. "W-what," I breathed. His gaze flicked to my lips as his thumb stroked again. The calloused pad against my soft flesh sent goosebumps down my arms. His once warm eyes were dark as they lifted and bared into my soul. "What you do to... men." His husky whisper weakened my knees. I almost fell but his other hand settled on my hip, pulling me closer to him. "What you do to me," he added on a breath. The hand on my jaw shifted. His fingers left trails of tingles as he slipped them back slowly, under my earlobe and into my curls. *************************************************** As a young girl, Charlotte Avery's favourite pass time was daydreaming about her Prince Charming: Archer Johnson. As I walk into the school, he spots me and immediately starts talking to me. I brush past him, ignoring him, but today is definitely not my lucky day... He grabs my arm firmly, stopping me, and turns me to face him. The pain on my face contorts his expression. "What's wrong, Emma? Lost your voice, lizard?" I don't look at him; my head is hung low once again. "When I'm talking, you need to look at me!" he shouts, lifting my chin so I have to meet his gaze. I look at him, but it's not with innocence; it's with anger. "Oh, look, Emma's angry, everyone!" he mocks. "Just leave me alone," I say, meeting his eyes as I pull my arm free from his grip and walk away. He stares at me, shocked, as do all the kids around us, not expecting what I just did.
