A deadly virus spreads across the U.S in a span of hours. Lance, Keith, Shiro, Hunk, Pidge, Allura, and Coran must stay together to survive in a world of disease. Things get more challenging when they realize the hungry undead aren't the only ones threatening their lives.

Lance is a popular football player. Practically the schools golden boy. His friends Hunk and Pidge add to it. They all get A's. Hunk is sweet and everybody loves him. Pidge is brilliant and people are afraid of her. Then Lance is the flirt. Attractive and all the girls love him. Then we have Shiro. Keith's older brother who used to go to Altea High. He used to play football and wants Keith to at least go to a few games so he can go too. He's engaged to Allura. A woman who helps out around the school. Keith is a loner. He's also a badass. She does try to help some because she pities him. Keith doesn't like to talk about the abuse so he keeps quiet. The only person who knows is his best friend, shiro. Keith prefers to keep to himself and only talks to shiro, but that changes when shiro drags Keith along to a group get together and lance gets curious. They were always off doing their own things and never did things together unless it was for a mission. On such a mission the team got split up. Hunk and Pidge went to a different planet to help people, and so did Coran and Allura. Shiro, Keith and Lance go on another mission to a planet where no one lives. They need to find a special living plant on the planet to make the Cryogenic Pods work properly again. Shiro choose the two boys because they always fought, but he hopes they won't now.
