Destined

' It's over.' , Siddharth said over phone
'But why ? What did I do ?' I asked him, my voice choked and tears rolling down my cheeks.
'It's not working anymore' Siddharth said almost irritated
'But why atleast give me an explanation ?' He remained silent, I continued ' Sidharth atleast tell me where we went wrong ? Did I do anything that made you upset ? Am I not worth an explanation ? My voice was now breaking, I wanted to cry aloud and his silence made me feel awful. All our happy memories started flashing before my eyes, all that promises,silly jokes, all dedicated songs. Do they mean nothing to him ? How can he forget all the memories made over years in flash of a moment ? I started crying hard.
'Please don't cry', Siddharth said
How does he think I will not cry after making me cry ? I thought. I felt like I had been splashed with a bucket of cold water.
He continued, 'look I know we love each other but we can't be together please understand.
'Oh such a lame logic !' I thought of
'I want to break up with you' Siddharth finally said after alot of hesitation.
In a moment all my dreams shattered. All the memories that we created together,the promise of marrying each other, everything shattered, my world came crashing. My head was spinning. I couldn't see properly, tears clouded my eyes. I will miss you Sid....I whispered to myself.
