This was the day Blake Smith had dreamed about forever. She had just graduated from Harvard Law, and finished top student in her class. It just so happened that her professor’s brother owns the very successful law firm, Parker and Harrison. Her professor immediately gave her a letter of recommendation, knowing how brilliant she was. A couple of days later, she was already installed in her new office.
Today she was on her first case, the murder of a young girl, named Cathy Louis; she was the prosecution, working pro bono for the D.A’s office, meaning her hours we free. If she did win, the firm would get a six figure settlement!
When the defense attorney brings up the one thing they were afraid of, it threatens to throw Blake’s case down the toilet, and she has to try everything she can to make sure she wins, even if it means going against her boss’ orders and risking her new job.

We write the year 1977.
As the eccentric young professor, 𝐘/𝐍 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐌 starts teaching at Cambridge, a row of unexplainable incidents start taking place, mostly unnoticed by everyone. College funds disappearing, students suddenly leaving and objects of worth disappearing, everything seems like a coincidence.
Until one day everything changes. One incident with fatal consequences may destroy the professors whole career and might even send her to jail for years or a lifetime. She gets arrested by a detective, 𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐈𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐃𝐄, who suspects her of the crime but starts believing her more and more until he realizes that she had been 𝐃𝐄𝐅𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐃, a realization that the duo needs to convince everyone of. Slowly a second mystery-one that neither of them can explain-starts brewing. Is the growing attraction between the young adults just physical or is it something deeper? Some sort of connection?
And who's playing their game with them? What will happen when the tragic story reaches its climax?
