[Road Trip Across the U.S of Gay; AKA- if John Green was gay and a girl he would write this] Her parents are nagging her, her depression and anxiety are rising off the charts, and she has no idea what she is going to do with her life. At the age of only 16, Saylor is already drifting through life, and she is in need of a break. She needs to get away from the pressures of life in general, and away from the people that makes need to think ten times about any action that she makes. She needs to figure out her sexuality without people looking over her shoulder. That's where an old '47 Ford pickup comes in. With it being the only thing in her actual possession, though not actually in working condition, she knows that it is the only chance of her making a change in her life- and she certainly needs it. So, she makes a deal with one of the only people in town that she was indifferent about- Lorelai Wilks. Lorelai agrees to fix the truck, free of charge, for Saylor. The catch though- when isn't there a catch?- is for Saylor to include Lorelai in her plan. Which may or may not include a road trip, to see the most stupid thing that they could think of, so that they could stop thinking for awhile. As well as search their...sexual feelings.
