Kayden is a rowdy teenage boy who just wants to be noticed. He'll do anything for attention. Yell, scream, dye his hard white, wear clothes that stand out or even sleep with everyone in his junior class. He even drank four beers then rode a dirt bike down the street.
Asher is a sophomore in college who has to take care of his five sisters and mother. He worked very hard to get a swim scholarship to UC Berkeley and is the most innocent nineteen year old you could find. He hides the fact that he is gay very well and is not interested in relationships.
When Asher moves in next to Kayden, because it's the only house off campus for his family to live in, their adventure begins together of being discriminated, bullied, and not feeling loved. Asher realizes that maybe he does need love. Kayden realizes that maybe you don't have to do everything in order to get attention.
