Shy but snarky when she needs to be Annabelle Mason has just spent her entire summer mourning over the tragic rejection from her long time crush, the gorgeous and unavailable Conner North.

As she begins her 11th grade year she vows to steer clear of Conner and his possy as long as she lives, in order to avoid further embarressment. But it's starting to seem like his asshole old friend and signature school bully Zach Hudson wants to be the next boy to anihalate Anna's heart. But she's going to do her very best to avoid being stuck on this asshat.

Will her efforts prove to be futile?
