For my Creative Writing class. I've had this idea forever ago and now I'm starting to add to it.
When Angel Marie Stark falls for Brandon Scott Hyer, her world will fall apart even more. She holds a secret so delicate and so dangerous that anyone who knows it could get killed, harmed or never live a normal life again. She was claimed by someone so evil, so sinister when she was only 6. He kills everyone she starts to like. He hates the thought of her with someone else. He wants her. But what will she have to do to make him stop? Will she have to kill him? What is her secret?

Brandon Scott Hyer is just your average everyday teen. He goes to school, has a few good friends, wants to graduate and has that one crush he's had forever. Her name is Angel Marie Stark. He wants to be with her more than anything in the world. He sneaks peaks at her in class, in the hallway, when she walks to her car or if he sees her in public. He is absolutely crazy about her. But what he doesn't know is how much trouble he will be getting himself into. What will happen to him? What will happen to them both? Will they finally get together?

And this very moment caused me to wonder what more would come from that memory. I was a firm believer in avoiding violence. This is ironic since I was the one who punched a girl. CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. Astren City, and all surrounding area, have the highest crime rate in the northern part of the country. Dozens of crime families constantly trying to take the throne, as well as corruption lurking around every corner, do not aid in that fact at all. Salem Heart's father, Jack Heart, happens to be the Astren City Chief of Police, a title which holds a lot of weight and a rank that claims even more power. He's well respected, and amazing at his job. That said, greatness is expected of Salem as well. Of course that isn't a problem, Salem will always be loyal to the law. He was raised by it, and upholding it is his future career aspiration. He thinks he has his life figured out. The fact that his ex-boyfriend comes from a notorious crime family, and has been arrested several times by Jack's own department, doesn't matter. Salem's passed that, he's over Atlas Marino and he always will be. He will ignore that scratch in his record, and cover it up with his success. Salem is offered a job to help with an investigation that could benefit his future career astronomically. He thinks it's a win-win situation, he gets the recognition he desires, and the streets will be that much safer. It's all black and white to him, easy to understand. He likes the order, and he craves the accomplishment of defeating bad with good. It's all black and white. Until he gets caught in the grey.
