Dakota is a forensic scientist one of the best actually. She excels at finding the evidence to lock away the murderers of the world. However, this job had taken a toll on her. Everyone she sees fills her with a sense of mistrust. To her nobody in this world is what they seem. She tends to stay inside unless crucial to her job or survival. That is, in till one night she wakes up with blood on her lips. That night she vowed to find the person who did this to her. She began doing research on if this had happened to anyone else. A thought had twinged in the back of her head but she had shoved it down. The thought that this was the work of a vampire. Eventually, she found stories of bodies found drained of blood. Now fueled with a sense of fear that she was next she began to use her forensic expertise to find them. And that my dear reader is where you start the story.
