What if a gem who thought was once shattered wasn't? Tourmaline was part of the Crystal gems but during the war she couldn't keep up with what was happening, she had fled the war and went back to civilization where she found a job and fell in love with a human and had a child. Well not a child more like twins! Here is how it works each child has half of her gem, Karmelo and Sparrow was their names and this description is long so I am going to stop right here so you can get on with the story.

Now after all that a Year as passed meaning Steven is 17 now. Everything is finally bright again Steven is ok now and so are the Crystal Gems even if Steven won't be able to get his body back atleast he'll live a big life but..not everything has been bright because Steven is having trauma the day of his own death. The Onyx Recruit
Steven Universe, on a mission with the Crystal Gems, finds a large black gemstone with wave like patterns in the colors of fire. He shows it to the gems, who've surprisingly 'never' seen such a gem before, and with a bit of convincing, allow him to take it home. When Steven awoke to get a midnight snack, the gem reformed and appeared in his kitchen. Who was this? Why havn't the gem's heard of him before? Why did he feel such a pull to him? What does he know?
