15 year old Karissa was given the opportunity of a life time when one of her teachers asked her if she wanted to go to boarding school and finish high school in Korea. She agreed. The only problem is she doesn't know Korean. When she arrives at her new family's home she becomes painfully aware of her new neighbor. She comes to find out that her neighbor speaks English and is faced with a decision. Will she continue to struggle in school or will she take language lessons from her immature neighbor yet appealing neighbor? Will something happen between the two or is it just a figment of her imagination?

Jessica is your everyday not-so-stereotypical nerd. She does not act like regular nerds, who are obsessed with having perfect grades, although she is an A+ student and not very noticeable. She is more like wallpaper than an actual talking human, until she meets the school bad boy. They became immediate enemies (well, after she gets over his good looks). They are forced to spend time together since they both are in many of the same classes and have the same job. But he begins to rub off on her, and she suddenly becomes more confident and courageous. Is this a bad thing? Or is he just a bad influence?
