Her name is Hayley. These people are taking over the whole east coast of the U.S., and is taking every the child under age 18 from their parents for unknown reasons. Hayley Knight, her little brother Landon, Rachael Angel, and their friend Logan Wells are the only children who were not taken, since they knew how to hide and had to fend for themselves considering the tragic events that happened to each of their parents. Hayley was the only runaway. And according to them, she had to be caught. They were searching everywhere for her, finally concluding to scale the west coast, where she was last seen, to find her and catch her. Hayley meets a girl who is like her: Emily and her parents ran away from the east coast to be safe and to save their daughter from the unknown. Tristan, Emily's brother, does not know what has been happening to the east coast, but will know soon enough. Hayley meets both of these people, but whose life will effect the other more? Hayley, being a runaway and putting her new friends in danger, or Emily and Tristan, one Hayley likes and the other being a fast friend of Hayley's, both of whom trusting her and loving her to an extent that's dangerous to themselves and Hayley. Does Hayley get caught? And what will they do to her once they catch her?
