They're special. They're gifted, and sometimes they're forced to live among us.
When Aavyr's mother has had enough of his fooling around, she ships him to America, to live with two "old fashioned" humans and their granddaughter. Aavyr will learn what it's like to be a family, to truly love someone, despite their flaws, and to learn to accept changes in his new life.
