In the middle of nowhere surrounded by darkness there was a small ray of light visible through the branches of trees that was falling from the sky. I jerked my head up towards the sky and the light just disappeared in a flash. Slowly I realized that I was standing in the middle of a deep dark forest. It was a full moon day but the thick trees seemed to swallow any light and it was completely dark. The darkness was so deep that I could hardly recognize the things around me. I was scared. I couldn't move my legs and my hands were frozen cold. Suddenly I felt someone standing behind me. My fear didn't allow me to turn around and see who it was. Suddenly I heard a voice calling my name. It was a guy. He had a clear deep voice. He called my name again but my fear rooted me to the spot. After several minutes of standing frozen, I finally picked up the courage to turn. Before I could recognize who it was, I heard a different voice come up.
"Get up!!"
I sharpened my ears and listened closely to recognize the voice.
"Get up you sleepyhead!! You'll be late for college!!"
Yes! It's my mom calling out for me.
When I opened my eyes I was in my room. I got up from bed slowly and there were lots of things running inside my head.
'Was I sleepwalking?'
'Was it really just a dream?'
'Who was the guy?'
'How did he know my name?'
As I pondered over these thoughts, I heard my mom calling out for me again. Unwillingly I put my thoughts aside to get ready for college.

"Shift." His voice hit me like a serrated blade as he stepped out of the crude semicircle of hardened wolves that had formed around me. I finally escaped the factory, they kidnapped me from my college. Today is my birthday, and I had planned for it but nothing helped, only calming me down for the moment. A scream echoed out in the silent starry sky, my body freezing... They were looking for me, I just knew it. Again, I ran and jumping over the fence to the property, muscles burning, my breathing short. I look behind me, not seeing the light of the school anymore. I slow down, holding my breath again. Looking around, only trees and bugs surround me. I slowly sank to my knees, gripping the grass in between my fingers, to keep my breathing calm. My breathing becoming short again, a panic attack was on the verge. A hand was now on my shoulder and another on my cold cheek, making me look into his eyes, "Let me help you..." He whispered. Rubbing his thumb against my cheek, I slowly nod my head, when a pain began to form in my chest. I knew it was coming. I quickly get away, crawling a couple feet away. "Get away!" I yelled. My skin turning white and the pain erupting inside of me, feeling it try to escape, and I know if I let it. It will hurt this man. Suddenly, he was there in my view. Blue eyes staring at me, and then his lips were on my own. Gasping as I felt the pain beginning to disappear from inside me. Eyes drooping and my body relaxing against his. How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha. Always thought it was fascinating how when he runs you can't see it. Being a vampire must be...fascinating. Yet he makes it out to be hell. I can't understand that kind of complicity of being a vampire and the issues. I get it, they drink blood. Though there's multiple things beside humans that offer blood! He acts like it's so horrific.
