Threads and Threats

Three years after the Ministry of Defense (MOD) lost an operative from their Intelligence department, they intend to gain back a former operative, Logan. The only hitch? He is a member of the Millequattro Famiglia, which is notorious for escaping every single take-down attempted by law enforcers, and he has no memory of being an operative.

The tables are turned when MOD uses evidence of Logan's time as an operative against him, threatening to make him seem like a double agent unless he does just that - gather information and carry out tasks in secret for MOD.

Is MOD creating a farce or telling the truth? More importantly, who is the person from MOD contacting him?
