Dereks life gets torn apart once the girl he deemed the love of his life returns from an assumed death. 

Skyler was taken two years ago by a serialkiller that the BAU chased, however the trail goes cold right after and she was never found. 

Derek, refusing to accept that his love is gone, chase the man who has taken so many lives. But after over a year of no clues even he has to accept defeat and move on with his life. 

This however will prove to be harder than he thought.. 

Once Derek finally starts to build a life again the unthinkable happens and Sky returns from the dead.
