Johanna has been through a lot. Her past isn't that great and innocent like most girls she knows either. Her mother died in a car wreck with Johanna, she always blamed herself for it but she got something out of it. She became a Special.

Now she must go on a trip with Connor, a player that wants Johanna enough to hurt others. And Zak who loves Johanna but as her step-brother, it complicates things. He's also a Special but his back story isn't as simple as Johanna's.

Things get complicated with these three as things get rough on this seeming simple business trip.
