The year is 1126. The place, England.
Rowen never really knew who her parents were. All she knew was that someone had left her on the steps of Great Hall; the spies' headquarters in England. Since she had been left there it seemed fitting that she should train there. So she became the first female spy. The years went by but not without their share of trouble. Then disaster happens and it is up to Rowen to face her past and to fix the problems. An army is forming, a man's life hangs in the balance and time is ticking down.
While I wouldn't call this a historical fiction there are several people in this story who did actually live. For example, King Henry I did really rule during 1126, and his son really did die in a shipwreck. Brian Boru was an Irish hero who defeated the Vikings at Clontarf. I try to make the real people appear only in name and not actually as a character because I wouldn't want to give you the wrong picture of people who really existed.

The second I saw her my skin heated and heart skipped a beat. I knew I had to know who she was. I knew I just needed to be near her. Dragons roamed the world long before men, and at their height, nobody could have foreseen their downfall. Now Beinn Na Nathrach is the last nest, and the riders of Dùn Ceò - the ancient fortress carved into the mountainside - are the crumbling remnants of a once noble and powerful sept of armies the world over. As an orphan brought up within the walls of a dragon keep, following orders and watching the riders train is as close as I'll ever get to joining their ranks. Life for me is laid out as a servant, with my place secure as the ward of one of the commanders. I can see it ahead of me; the years of mucking out stables, fetching food, mending clothes and equipment, when all my heart aches for is to know how it feels to see wings stretched out either side of me. Yet the monotony of life is shaken when a hatchling is found in the forest, and rumours of rebellion in the most Northern villages begin to spring up. A Spy's Tale (Completed)
She is being chased. From who, she doesn't know. All she is knows that she has to move every so often, trying to make sure that her family is safe as well as she. She, also, has to have her appearance and name changed, just as her family has. However, why is she being chased? Was it because she is following in her father's footsteps at becoming a Spy? Did she do something wrong in one of the missions that she had done when she was younger? Or was it the fact that she might just be smarter than the normal Spy, having been able to hack into different softwares, even at a young age? Well, whatever the reason is, she is being chased and is slowly getting sick and tired of it. Meet, Carly Lamar, formerly known as Addison Baylor, an 18 year old spy. Addy, as people like to call, isn't some girl that doesn't back down from a fight. Even at age 13, when all this had happened, she wanted to find whomever was trying to her and her family and make their lives a living hell. However, her parent as overruled her decision, so she was just biding her time, waiting and hiding. Like all Spy's, Addy knows more than she lets on. Does that mean that she knows where her father is? Well, not necessarily, but she might know how to track him down, if she got the chance. That was why the people after her wants her, and that is why the Spy's put her and her family into the Secret Service. However, after one huge mistake, will she run with her family, or will she stand and fight? Will she finally show the world what she can do? And, can she find her father, even if she has limited resources to do so?
